
Glad I finally (@ sidhancrut), kak Aryo (@ aiodongeng), Andre and kak kak Fahmi gets a chance to set foot in the city of Ambon. Children’s Reading Garden Bee (TBAL) with Hekaleka in order to perform the Moluccas Child Care Education Mission Trip: A Trip To Saparua. This is the 5th Mission Trip from Hekaleka and invite TBAL for sharing with villagers Paperu and Siri Sori Islam in a workshop entitled “Assembling Story, Dream On”.
The first day of our arrival in the city of Ambon were warmly welcomed by kak Stanley with a team of doctors from hekaleka. Together we set out to use the speedboat, which is the main transport to cross the sea to the island of Ambon city Saparua. Arriving at Saparua, we went straight to the village to visit the elementary Instruction Paperu Paperu. There, elementary students Instruction Paperu been waiting our arrival at the school gate while shouting slogans ‘Welcome’ with delight.
After that, they gathered in the classroom in accordance with the group class to start coloring contest. The students excited coloring pictures that have been provided. Accompanied by brother-sister from TBAL and Hekaleka, they finish coloring contest and waiting who will be the champion. While waiting for the announcement of the winner of the coloring contest, I gathered the students to sit around in front of the class while tell them a story.

Meanwhile in a separate classroom, kak Aryo provide workshops “Stringing Story, Dream On” to teachers in elementary Instruction Paperu. Kak Aryo share stories and experiences in storytelling how “magic” fairy tales can be applied as a medium in teaching and learning at home and school. Storytelling techniques are simple to use story books, dolls and facial expressions are also taught kak Aryo in hopes of developing the capacity of teachers / Teachers in the village in teaching.
The second day we visited the elementary and Instruction Elementary School in the village of Siri Sori Islam. The event, which took place the same as in SD Inpres Paperu. In addition to coloring contest, storytelling and workshops, brothers of Hekaleka also provide counseling about healthy living patterns, ranging from how to wash hands and brush their teeth well and truly on the students. Boisterous laughter and spirit of the students and teachers a clear sky coloring Saparua island. Our journey does not stop there.
